Explore Havana city – Revolution Square, Malecon, Capitolio, the Historic Centre which is a UNESCO Cultural Heritage Site of Humanity. See the colourful vintage cars that roam the streets.
Visit Sloppy Joe’s Bar where Frank Sinatra, John Wayne and Clarke Gable would gather. See Obispo Boulevard, Cathedral Square, Plaza De Armas, La Bodeguita del Medio, Floridita Bar-Restaurant, Plaza de San Fransisco de Asis Restaurant, and the Great Military Historical Park.
Dinner included at a restaurant for magnificent local cuisine and overnight.

07 May (B,L)
Visit the Cuban countryside – Ranchon of Las Barringos, and see the tobacco plantation and local homes along the way. Pass through Vinales Valley National Park and the 120 metre prehistoric mural on the mogote wall.
Lunch will be a typical Creole meal, after which you will enjoy a short boat ride to the Cave of the Indian.
Evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

08 May (B)
Vintage car rides to visit local cigar factory in Old Havana. See how the world famous Cuban cigars are actually made.
Afternoon and evening at your leisure.

09 May (B,L)
Cienfuegos – the astonishingly well-preserved colonial centre. Visit Palacio del Ayuntamiento and Tomas Terry Theatre.
Lunch at a local restaurant. Head to Trinidad.
Afternoon and evening is yours to explore Trinidad.
Overnight.

10 May (B,L)
Walking tour through Trinidad, founded by the Spaniards in the 16th Century and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Museo Palacio Cantero and the stunning Plaza Mayor and its glorious colonial architecture.

11 May (B)
Brief visit to Santa Clara – Mausoleum of Che Guevara and his fallen comrades in Bolivia.
Visit the symbol of the 1959 revolutionary battle.
Head to Havana Airport for flight to Mexico and transfer to hotel.

12 May (B,L)
Explore Mexico City – its UNESCO listed historic city centre, the Zocalo (Main Square), the National Palace and Chapultepec Park, then the National Museum of Anthropology.
See the University City (UNESCO listed site), San Angel residential area and the colonial Coyoacan or Xochimilco Floating Gardens.
Lunch at a local restaurant with traditional, casual cuisine.
Evening at leisure.

13 May (B)
Early morning optional tour – additional cost $388 p.p.
Pyramids of Teotihuacan, Globe Port for a ride in a hot air balloon. Upon return enjoy a champagne toast. See the Street of the Dead, the Citadel, the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, the Sun & Moon Pyramids, and the Shrine of Guadalupe.

14 May (B)
Fly to Merida. Transfer to your hotel.
Afternoon: brief orientation tour of the city, historical centre, Zocalo (Main Square), Cathedral and the local market.
Horse-drawn carriage ride along Montejo Avenue to see the “White City.”

15 May (B)
Full day at Uxmal and Kabah. See the Mayan architecture, visit the Hall of Melate Stones, the Cathedral, Hall of Children, Hall of the Haltuns and Hall of the Inscriptions.
Evening at your leisure.

16 May (B)
Colonial town of Izamal, the Monastery of St. Anthony of Padua. See its square of arcades – one of the largest in the world.
Evening at leisure. Weather permitting you might like to book and enjoy the Sound & Light Show at Chichen Itza.

17 May (B)
UNESCO Site Chichen Itza, now one of the new Seven Wonders of the World and an important religious site in Mayan culture. See the Kukulcan Pyramid, the Ball Game Court, and the Observatory among other amazing structures.
Transfer to Tulum. Visit the sleepy colonial town of Valladolid, the Yucatan Penninsula, the Zocalo (Main Square), its fortress style church and the provincial life.

18-19 May (B)
Days at leisure to enjoy the beaches of the Caribbean.

20 May (B)
Departure flight home.
