Istanbul full-day tour – Topkapi Palace – Blue Mosque – Hippodrome – Grand Bazaar and Aghia Sophia. Dinner and belly dance show.

Bosphorus cruise – depart for Edirne – Highlights of Edirne – Selimiye Mosque, Arasta Bazaar, and the old Ottoman streets. Dinner and overnight.

Drive to Gallipoli – Anzac Cove – Lone Pine – Johnston’s Joly, The Neck – Chunuk Bair – Hellespont. Drive back to Edrine and overnight.

Edirne – Troy – drive to Canakkale – Dinner – Depart for Dawn Service.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO BOOK FOR THE GALLIPOLI TOUR?

We have GALLIPOLI tours running year round, and these can be confirmed at any time of the year. However, to attend the ANZAC Day Ceremony on site on 25th April, we suggest you book at least 9 – 10 months in advance.

DO I NEED A VISA FOR TURKEY?

Australian passport holders do require a visa for Turkey. You can easily obtain a visa online prior to departure. Contact us to ensure you go through the official government website to avoid scams.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE IN TURKEY?

The dress code in Turkey is similar to what you can expect in many parts of Europe. However, please remember that the predominant religion here is Islam. T-shirts, skirts, shorts are all perfectly acceptable during the summer months. If you are entering a mosque or any religious site, you will be required to cover your head with a scarf.

It is the LIRA that is used in Turkey. Money exchange kiosks are found all over Turkey, but you can also exchange money at the airport, at banks, or even inside your hotel.
