Touchdown Tours is a travel and tour company that has been in operation for 26 years. It was founded in 1991 by the father and daughter team Arthur and Jaqui Preketes. Touchdown Tours has become well-known for its inspiring and highly personalised travel itineraries. We offer:

Touchdown Tours became one of the biggest tour operators into the Mediterranean region and has remained so for more than 20 years. We are experts in Greece, Italy, Egypt, Jordan, as the well as the Gulf states of Oman, Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Touchdown Tours was one of the first to open Dubai as a destination and not just a stop-over point.
She is also a volunteer business mentor for the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women, providing support and mentoring for those in other countries. This organisation helps women entrepreneurs gain financial independence thus helping to empower women worldwide.
Touchdown Tours is also a major sponsor and travel specialist for Australian and overseas sporting teams, taking the sports people of our nation and others to the Olympic Games, the Commonwealth Games and many international World Games.
In addition, our Education Department has been sending teachers and students to destinations with a focus on their preferred studies, whether it be arts and culture, or business and development.

Jennie Jansen
All-round team member, Jennie is the assistant to the director, ensuring her schedule is up-to-date and things go according to plan. She also takes care of our social media. Another multi-lingual individual, Jennie speaks 3 languages and is currently learning a fourth. With her original background as a teacher in high school and higher education for over 17 years, Jennie assists the education department of our office to organise school groups around their curriculum needs, taking them on worldwide travel experiences.
Lizetta Preketes
Nicknamed “The General” Lizetta keeps everything running ship-shape within the accounts department. She has been working with Touchdown Tours for the past 25 years and is an integral part of the company.
