Myths, Morals & Mysticism :
A Journey Into Platonism

Join Bernie Lewin and the Platonic Academy of Melbourne as we explore Platonism in Greece, bringing the philosophy, mysticism and the wisdom of Plato to life amongst the ancient sites.

Starting in the heart of Athens, we take in the Ancient Agora where Socrates and Plato would have walked, talked and debated. Moving through to the north, we visit the magnificent monasteries of the Meteora cliffs and the mythical site of the Oracle of Delphi. Our journey then returns through the south into Epidaurus and Ancient Olympia, all the while with our focus on Plato and Platonism, as well as taking in the general history of the towns we visit.
