 DAY 1 – Istanbul

Upon arrival, you will be met by one of our representatives and transferred to your hotel.

DAY 2 – Istanbul

Full day tour including Topkapi Palace (excluding harem), Hippodrome, the Blue Mosque, and the Grand Bazaar. B

DAY 3 – Istanbul – Ankara

Morning at leisure. Afternoon departure for Ankara around 3pm and overnight. BD

DAY 4 – Ankara – Cappadocia

See the magnificent Hittite artefacts at the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations. Visit the Mouseleum of Ataturk, father of modern Turkey. Drive to Cappadocia, touring a 13th century Caravansary Inn en route. BD

DAY 5 – Cappadocia

Early Morning Optional Tour: Hot Air Balloon over Cappadocia. Later this afternoon, visit Göreme, Avanos, Pasabagi and the Red Valley. Enjoy a brief regional pottery workshop in a local cave. BD

DAY 6 – Cappadocia – Pamukkale

Visit the famous Mausoleum of the Sufi philosopher Mevlana before arriving at Pamukkale for dinner. BD

DAY 7 – Pamukkale – Perge – Antalya

Arriving at around midday in Antalya, today will be a relaxing afternoon by the Mediterranean coast. BD

DAY 8 – Antalya Full Day Tour

Enjoy a full day touring the ancient city of Perge and the famous Roman theatre in Aspendos. BD

DAY 9 – Antalya – Demre – Kekova – Kalkan

After breakfast depart for Kas. Along the way, visit the famous Church of St. Nicholas (Santa Claus) in Demre and enjoy a boat trip to Kekova, the Sunken City. Overnight in Kas. BD

DAY 10 – Kas – Xanthos – Patara – Fethiye

Visit the Ancient cities of Patara and Xanthos before heading to the famous beach resort, Fethiye. Dinner in a local restaurant and overnight in Fethiye. BD

DAY 11 – Fethiye

A day of at leisure with the optional tours of Oludeniz (Dead Sea) or Boat Trip to 12 Islands. BD

DAY 12 – Fethiye – Caunos – Marmaris

Head to Dalyan village and take a river boat to tour the famous mud baths with sulphur hot springs. View the Ancient Kings’ Tombs of Caunos City, and enjoy a relaxing swim at Iztuzu Beach (also known as Turtle Beach), a natural shelter and breeding site for Blue Crabs and nearly extinct Loggerhead Sea Turtles. BD

DAY 13 – Marmaris – Rhodes

Day at leisure at this lovely town of Marmaris or an Optional Tour: Day trip to Rhodes. BD

DAY 14 – Marmaris – Bodrum

Drive to Bodrum and visit the Castle of St Peter, as well as the renowned Underwater Museum. Take in the Mouseleum of Halicarnassos, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Overnight in Bodrum. BD

DAY 15 – Bodrum – Kusadasi

Early morning drive to Kusadasi to join other fellow travellers and proceed to Ephesus. Full day tour the famous ruins of Ephesus and St. Mary’s Cottage. Dinner and overnight in Kusadasi. BD

DAY 16 – Pergamum – Troy – Canakkale

Visit the ancient Medical Center, Asclepion, in Pergamum. Visit Troy with its famous wooden horse before heading to Canakkale. BD

DAY 17 – Dardanelles – Gallipoli – Istanbul

Head to Gallipoli where we visit ANZAC Cove, Lone Pine Cemetery, Chunuk Bair and Gabatepe War Museum. Late this afternoon, return to Istanbul and overnight. B

DAY 18 – Istanbul – Return

Our representative will escort you to the airport for your onward flight. B
