FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

IS THIS A PRIVATE TOUR?

This journey of Egypt has some private touring, and some regular touring with other travellers.

HOW LARGE ARE THE CRUISE SHIPS?

Cruising along the River Nile is much more a riverboat cruise-type experience, rather than a large ocean liner. All of the vessels we use are deluxe and 5*, as we are conscious of the quality of food and water, as well, of course, as service.

CAN I GET A VISA UPON ARRIVAL IN EGYPT?

Yes, Australian passport holders can obtain a visa upon arrival into Cairo. The current cost is approximately US$25, and it can be paid either in cash or by credit card. You can, of course, also obtain a visa at the Egyptian Consulate or Embassy prior to departure in your closest city.

CAN I STAY LONGER THAN THE TOUR?

You can always stay longer than the duration of all our tours. And, if you ask us to create a boutique experience especially for you and your travelling party, we will ensure that it is a unique and exciting journey made exclusively for you.

DO YOUR TOURS STILL RUN DURING RAMADAN?

Yes, all our tours run throughout the year, including during the Holy Month of Ramadan, the most important religious event in the Islamic calendar. During this time, you are requested to enjoy food and drink (prior to the break of the fast) in your room or, at times, the hotels and cruise vessels will have a partitioned section to accommodate overseas travellers.
