DAY 1 Tehran

Upon arrival into Tehran, you will be met by one of our representatives and transferred to your hotel. This afternoon, enjoy a tour of this glorious ancient city. Visit the Carpet Museum housing some of the most beautiful carpets & tapestries in the Islamic world. Take in Sa’adabad Palace and Gardens, home to the former Shah.

DAY 2 Tehran

Continue exploring Tehran today, visiting the Golestan Palace, were the coronations of the former Shah & his father took place. Particularly notable are the Hall of Mirrors and the Garden Hall, housing 7000 years of Persian history, from the 5th millennium BC to the 19th century. (B)

DAY 3 Tehran – Klardasht – Chalous

Drive to Chalous via Kelardasht. Located northwest of Tehran close to the Caspian Sea, this fertile valley is one the most popular destinations for eco tourists. At an altitude of 1250 m above sea level, the landscape is one of gentle hills covered with forest. Visit the town of Chalous on the shores of the Caspian Sea. (B)

DAY 4 Chalous – Anzali

Port Bandar-e Anzali, known as Bandar-e Pahlavi before the Iranian Revolution, is a harbour town on the Caspian Sea in the Iranian province of Gilan. Visit the beautiful Manareh Clock Tower, stroll along the long harbour promenade and share tea with the locals in one of the cafes. (B)

DAY 5 Anzali – Masouleh – Tehran

An early morning excursion will take you to the picturesque village of Masouleh today. Embedded in the mountains of Northern Iran, Masouleh is a cultural heritage landmark and a UNESCO World Heritage listed site. This thousand-year-old village resembles an anthropological and architectural museum in the western most part of Gilan Province. Even though Masouleh is close to the Caspian Sea, it is still 1,050 meters above sea level. The difference between the highest and lowest points in the village itself is 100 meters. (B) The history of Masouleh dates back to 10th century BCE and in past times, the village was also known as “Maasalar” and “Khortab”. Drive back to Tehran visa Rasht & Qazvin. Overnight in Tehran. (B)

DAY 6  Tehran

Tour ends.
