DAY 1 Casablanca

Arriving into Casablanca, you will be met by one of our representatives and transferred to your hotel. Time permitting you will also visit the Hassan II Mosque en route. (D)

DAY 2 Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fez

Head to the capital city Rabat and visit the Kasbah of Oudaya, Hassan Tower and Chella. See the mausoleum of Mohammed V, and view the present king’s palace. Head to Fez via Meknes, and see Morocco’s former capital. See the Agdoul Basin, the Moulay Ismail Royal Stables and Dar el Ma (Water House). The lovely gate of Bab el Mansour welcomes you before you head to the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Continue onto Volubilis, the Roman capital of Northwestern Africa. Overnight in Fez. (B/D)

DAY 3 Fez

Fez was once the religious capital of Morocco. Visit the 14th century religious schools of Bou Inania and Attarine. Wander the impressive souks, declared by UNESCO amongst the world’s cultural treasures. See the imposing gate of Bab Bajloud, the splendid fountains at Palais Nejjarine and the ancient ramparts and beautiful front entrance of the royal palace. Tonight, enjoy a multi-course Moroccan dinner in the old medina at a beautifully preserved palace. (B/D)

DAY 4 Azrou – Khenifra – Beni Mellal and Marrakech

Head to Marrakech via Azrou, crossing the Atlas Mountains. Experience the country mountain culture, visiting some Berber villages along the way. Arriving into Marrakech, enjoy dinner and overnight. (B/D)

DAY 5 Marrakech

See the historic, Moorish Menara today, as well as taking in the Koutoubia Minaret and the Saadian Tombs. Time permitting also visit the Museum of Dar Si Said, the remains of Badii Palace. Visit also Bahia Palace in the heart of the Mellah, the Jewish quarter. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant before strolling the colourful soukhs in the afternoon. Perhaps conclude the day with a sunset drink overlooking the exciting Jamaa El Fna Square. (B/L)

DAY 6 Marrakech

Today, you may choose one of two ways to spend your day. Either enjoy a day at leisure to simply relax and stroll the streets of Morocco’s ‘pink city’ on your own. Or, you may wish to take a day trip to the pretty fishing village of Essaouira, including a famous medina with artwork from local artists. Tonight, enjoy a special Moroccan dinner in a restored Moroccan palace. (B/D)

DAY 7 Marrakech

Transfer to Marrakech Airport for your onward flight. (B)
